Abstract

This research develops as a theme the FM radio program and the diffusion of Ecuadorian independent music in the province of Tungurahua, evidencing that there is no opening by the radios in their different programs, besides not knowing the record material of the different artists . In the same sense, it describes the musical genres considered within the independent Ecuadorian scene, describing the social reality of the artists at the level of production and media, who have to deal with some problems, since they do not have spaces to make themselves known and Generate an awareness of his musical art. It is also detailed how the issue is socialized, since it is necessary to establish a workshop with the coordination of AER (Ecuadorian Broadcasting Association) to sensitize the directors of programming about independent music, the struggle of local artists and social issues That are treated in the songs, allowing the diffusion of independent Ecuadorian music in the programming of the FM radios of the province of Tungurahua.
