Abstract

In the present situation that is the hotel sector of the city of Baños established in the province of Tungurahua, it is necessary to establish the incidence of the determination of the costs in the fixation of the price in the service of lodging being a high priority for an adequate Decision making and indicate the great problem detected as the inadequate calculation of costs, caused by an inappropriate determination of costs, resulting in a deficiency in the pricing of the hosting service. Nowadays with constant business changes, this sector can’t be unaware of this type of difficulties. For this reason the present research work has as purpose to give alternative solutions to problems presented at the time of determining the costs and prices of the service of lodging in the hotels of the city of Baños, so that in the daily develop their economic activities these Are efficient, taking into account that in the case of not implementing the appropriate solution tools, in the future there could be conflicts that affect its usefulness and the growth of the company. Likewise, this investigative work will be of great support for management to make decisions in an efficient and effective manner, which will help in a suitable way to fix the prices of the hosting service in a simple and direct.
