Abstract: The present research was carried out with the aim of studying the personality traits and the styles of love in the members of the ESFORSE Soldiers Training School of the City of Ambato, Tungurahua Province, where 605 soldiers between the ages of 18 and 22 years semi-professional staff. For this purpose, the Millon II Clinical Multiaxial Inventory is used as an instrument to evaluate Personality Traits and for Love Style the Hendrick and Hendrick Love Action Scale. Once concluded the investigation was determined that the personality traits do influence in the styles of love, in addition it was concluded that the personality trait with the mayor incidence is the dependent one and the style of love that appeared in greater incidence was the type of eros
Description: La presente investigación se realizó con el objetivo de estudiar los rasgos de personalidad y los estilos del amor en los miembros de la Escuela de Formación de Soldados (ESFORSE) de la Cuidad de Ambato, Provincia de Tungurahua donde se tomó como muestra a 605 militares entre edades de 18 a 22 años personal semi-profesional. Para ello se utilizaron como instrumentos el Inventario Multiaxial Clínico de Millon II para evaluar Rasgos de Personalidad y para Estilos de Amor la Escala de Actitudes de Amor de Hendrick y Hendrick. Una vez concluida la investigación se determinó que los rasgos personalidad si influyen en los estilos de amor, además se concluyó que el rasgo de personalidad con mayor incidencia es el dependiente y en el estilo de amor que se presentaba en mayor incidencia era el de tipo eros.
