Resumen : In the last times the scientific and technological breakthrough has been directed to the study of the treatment and possible cure of the diseases that afflict humanity, one of them and alarmingly is cancer in all its manifestations that more than cause death It generates large-scale expenses in treatment, one of the types of cancer that is most noticeable in the population is colorectal cancer and is usually manifested by gastrointestinal problems. Therefore, the objective of the present study is to determine the levels of the enzyme Piruvato Kinase (M2PK) in feces and the Embryonic Carcinogen Antigen in blood as biomarkers for early diagnosis of Colorectal Cancer in patients presenting gastrointestinal symptoms, especially in the case of Syndrome Irritable Bowel, it is therefore essential to specify the prevalence of Colorectal Cancer through the analysis of the M2PK Biomarker, a test that has not yet been applied in our environment and the CEA Carcinoembryonic Antigen, with which we intend to make comparisons and efficiency between them and analyze the results obtained in the tests, through this is intended to diagnose Colorectal Cancer from its initial stage for further treatment, this will also establish the risk factors that allow us to prevent morbidity and mortality due to colorectal cancer through the selection of the study population. gave according to clinical epidemiological and sociodemographic variables.
