El material audiovisual y su relación con la Identidad Histórico-Cultural del cantón Ambato

Abstract

The present project aims progressive in the history- cultural aspect of the Ambato town focused to let know the principal anecdote, stories, and legends of that place that reflects the cultural essence of the town. Those have been lost importance in the young people through the time until the point to be ignored by the citizens, the globalization approach to the younger people to get the foreign cultures by Manuel Castells (2015). The need to research born from the central problem of the limited information about the historical- cultural identity of the city, the existing reference material are in book nowadays is soporific the reading habit in some people because they have been adapted to the technology world, where the audiovisuals are the most assertive option to acquire knowledge, results obtained from studies conducted by the Rafael Landívar University. In order to get the relevant information that can show up the solution in the project apply several researching techniques and tools to recollect information by the experts in different areas as audiovisual, psychology, cultural promote and anthropology. Also the teenagers that represent the target as a result of the project according to the needs, based in the creation of a series of short movies to pose two topics that built a part of historical culture identity those are: anecdotes of illustrate character of the town and urban legends of Ambato. The proposal can be use as an educational material that support material of knowledge registered to the history of Ambato to strength this type of identity in the teenagers and generate local rewards and feel part of them. In addition boost the diffusion of the audiovisual through social media and show up the rich knowledge to the future generations.
