| Resumen : | El presente estudio hace referencia a la “discriminación visual en la iniciación a la lectoescritura en niños de 3 a 5 años (subnivel inicial II)”, el cual se realizó en la Unidad Educativa “Emanuel” del Cantón Ambato, perteneciente a la provincia de Tungurahua, tiene como objetivo analizar el uso de diferentes estrategias que ayudan a desarrollar la discriminación visual para la iniciación de la lectoescritura, para ejecutar el mismo se realizó la búsqueda y análisis de información en libros, revistas, artículos científicos, sitios web y las bibliotecas virtuales de diversas universidades de las variables del estudio. En cuanto a la metodología, la investigación tiene un enfoque cuali- cuantitativo, con un diseño no experimental y un alcance descriptivo porque admitió la representación de datos, características, de modalidad bibliográfica puesto que se realizó la investigación en diferentes fuentes y de campo debido a que se obtuvo toda la información de la Unidad Educativa, la población está compuesta de 26 alumnos, 26 padres de familia y 2 docentes de Educación Inicial; en la investigación se utilizó la técnica de observación realizada a los alumnos, la encuesta dirigida a docentes y padres de familia; los instrumentos fueron validados por expertos afines al área de Educación. De los datos recabados se concluyó que la discriminación visual es una habilidad que ayuda a los alumnos a reconocer semejanzas y diferencias de color, forma, fondo; permitiendo recordar con atención los detalles, también apreciar las diferencias leves que existen entre objetos e imágenes observadas, las estrategias utilizadas en los salones |
| Descripción : | The present study refers to the "visual discrimination in the initiation to literacy in children from 3 to 5 years (initial sublevel II)", which was carried out in the Educational Unit "Emanuel" of the Ambato Canton, belonging to the province of Tungurahua, aims to analyze the use of different strategies that help develop visual discrimination for the initiation of literacy, to execute the same, the search and analysis of information in books, journals, scientific articles, websites and the virtual libraries of various universities of the variables of the study was carried out. As for the methodology, the research has a qualitative-quantitative approach, with a non-experimental design and a descriptive scope because it admitted the representation of data, characteristics, bibliographic modality since the research was carried out in different sources and field because all the information of the Educational Unit was obtained, the population is composed of 26 students, 26 parents and 2 teachers of Initial Education; the research used the observation technique carried out on students, the survey aimed at teachers and parents; the instruments were validated by experts related to the area of Education. From the data collected, it was concluded that visual discrimination is a skill that helps students recognize similarities and differences in color, shape, background; allowing to remember with attention the details, also to appreciate the slight differences that exist between objects and images observed, the strategies used in the rooms help to enhance the process of literacy. Finally, it is established that there is a relationship between visual xiv discrimination and initiation to literacy, since the use of strategies and application of activities with concrete material and images helps students develop pre-reading and prewriting at the initial level. |
