dc.description.abstract | The present research project was carried out in the province of Tungurahua specifically in the Píllaro canton at the National Institute of Agricultural Research "INIAP", where the main objective was to evaluate management plans for the control of (Bactericera cockerelli) in tree tomato. (Solanum betaceum). To fulfill the purpose of the investigation, a completely randomized block experimental design (DBCA) was used with four treatments and with three repetitions per treatment, the tree tomato crop was in an initial stage with 4 months from its transplant to a planting distance of 2 m between plants and 2.5 m between rows, the management plans were organic, chemical, mixed and control plants. Based on Tukey's test at 0.05, the following results were obtained; Regarding the number of eggs, it was determined that P1 (Organic Plan) presenting an average of 4.41 is considered the best treatment for the control of Bactericera cockerelli, followed by P2 (Chemical Plan) presenting an average of 5 .44. The number of nymphs/leaf and adults/leaves showed that P1, presenting an average of 0, was considered the best treatment for the control of Bactericera cockerelli at this stage of the insect, followed by P3, presenting an average of 0. 1.73. Concluding that organic management is the most recommended for the control of Bactericera cockerelli. | es_ES |
