LAS RELACIONES INTERGENERACIONALES ENTRE NIÑOS, NIÑAS Y ADULTOS MAYORES Y EL ENVEJECIMIENTO ACTIVO DE LA POBLACIÓN EN EL CENTRO PARROQUIAL GARCÍA MORENO

Abstract

A medida que las estructuras sociales evolucionan, los adultos mayores y los niños son grupos olvidados, la carencia de políticas sociales para este sector es considerable. En esta investigación se abordan algunas consecuencias del envejecimiento de los adultos mayores, la debilitada intervención de profesionales en los centros de atención gerontológica, de igual manera este trabajo investigativo estudia el impacto que tiene la jubilación en los adultos mayores, el sentimiento de inutilidad que se crea en ellos; en este punto los niños vienen a ser un factor esencial en el proceso, a través de las relaciones intergeneracionales que se crean, generándose un envejecimiento activo del adulto mayor, beneficiándose de este servicio ambas generaciones. Se intenta iniciar el camino que logre responder al interrogante: ¿Qué podemos hacer en este contexto?, a través de la creación de un centro intergeneracional y el abordaje de profesionales que posibilitan construir entornos sociales de aprovechamiento sinérgico entre el centro y sus colaboradores de diferentes generaciones.As social structures evolve, older adults and children are neglected groups; the lack of social policies for this sector is considerable. In this study some consequences of aging seniors are addressed, the weakened intervention of professionals in gerontology centers, as well this research paper studies the impact of retirement in older adults, the feeling of worthlessness that they inflict on themselves; at this point the children come to be an essential factor in the process, through intergenerational relationships that are created, generating an aging full of activities for the elderly, both generations benefiting from this service. It tries to start the path to gain an answer to the question: What can we do in this context?, by creating an intergenerational center and addressing professionals who enable the building of social environments and its synergy between the center and colleagues from different generations.
