    Evaluación de la accesibilidad de aplicaciones móviles de instituciones públicas para personas sordomudas en la ciudad de Ambato

    Mobile devices are changing the way people interact and access information, but often they are not designed in an accessible way for everyone, especially for people with disabilities. The purpose of this research project is to evaluate the accessibility of mobile applications of public institutions in the city of Ambato, especially the special abilities of deaf-mute people were analyzed and compared with the principles of accessibility of mobile applications. The Kanban methodology was used for the development of the project, due to its adaptability and scalability, which allowed adjusting to the specific needs of the project. Finally, the results showed that most of the evaluated mobile applications do not fully comply with the accessibility principles. As a consequence, technical recommendations were presented to improve the accessibility of this type of applications for deaf-mute people.
