    Validación de la escala de control de los impulsos Ramón y Cajal en estudiantes universitarios

    The present research had the aim to validate the Ramón y Cajal impulse control scale in university students, the data analysis was carried out through a four-stage process that includes the item-test correlation in which the items that are related to the scale, followed by the exploratory factor analysis that served to identify the latent factors that make it possible to organize the items, in the third stage the confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to focused on reducing the indicators and conserving the highest variance and finally, in the fourth stage, the internal consistency of the new factors was identified. For the research, there was a population of 1023 students from various universities in Ecuador to whom the Ramón y Cajal Impulse Control Scale was applied using a Google Forms form, after applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria. finally there was a population of 841 participants. This research is quantitative, having a descriptive scope with a factorial design
