This is because the owners of the sites belonging to this sector do not have an application that allows them to have updated their business information.The aim of this project is the development of a mobile application with audiovisual content for the promotion of tourist attractions of the Ambato city, which will allow you to easily find places of gastronomy, lodging and tourism, as the app contains relevant information such as: site description, address, hours, costs, social networks. It also has geolocation that will allow you to observe possible routes of how to reach the destination from the current location of the user, it has a section that contains audiovisual content which will be in sign language or promotional content of the place. All this information will be managed by the owners of each place that is being promoted, the audiovisual content will be managed by the person in charge of the Video Management Module (audiovisual content). For the development of the mobile application, Java was used as the programming language and the development IDE used was Android Studio. Firebase's Realtime Database was used for the database, as well as tools such as NodeJS, Firebase Functions, Messaging for sending notifications, and Firebase Authentication and Firebase Storage were used for information management. To carry out the development of the research project in a correct and organized manner, it was necessary to investigate in the use of the Extreme Programming (XP) agile development methodology.
