Modelo de logística inversa para la empresa Repremarva Cia. Ltda.
(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2024-02) Ayala Guasti, Betty Yajaira; Tigre Ortega, Franklin Geovanny
This research aims to design a reverse logistics model for the company REPREMARVA CIA. LTDA., which is dedicated to the marketing of fast-moving consumer goods in different areas of Ecuador. It was identified that the current returns management system of the company is quite empirical; the processes are not clearly defined, and there is no policy controlling the system. Therefore, it is proposed to design a reverse logistics plan as a response to the identified challenges. To identify the current situation, direct observation of the process and interviews with stakeholders were employed. Additionally, flowcharts were used to organize this information. A review of records from a 3-month period of returns, along with statistical analysis, allowed the identification of returns and withdrawals, helping to pinpoint the factors causing the problem in order to propose improvement alternatives. The proposed logistics plan design includes preliminary pages necessary to understand its context, followed by a policy that helps define return deadlines and conditions. The procedure for managing returns is also detailed, and the depicted network of direct and reverse logistics provides a clear idea of its structure. Furthermore, the benefits of implementation are mentioned, and indicators are established to evaluate the plan.
