    The objective of this research is to analyze the use of Artificial Intelligence in the role of teachers of the Basic Education Career of the Technical University of Ambato. The methodology used was descriptive with a mixed approach, combining quantitative and qualitative methods. Bibliographic, documentary and field data collection techniques were used. A structured questionnaire was applied to identify the interactive teaching-learning methods and strategies used by teachers of Basic Education. The sample consisted of 180 people, of which 19 were teachers of the Basic Education career and 161 students selected in a representative manner from a total of 275, distributed among the different levels of the career, in order to obtain representative results of the various learning groups. The results showed the use of artificial intelligence in the teaching role as an emerging need in a society in constant evolution. In conclusion, the research shows that the integration of AI in the teaching praxis facilitates it and contributes to the holistic development of teachers and their students.
