    Diseño y construcción de una mini turbina hidráulica de hélices para ser instalada en los canales primarios abiertos y generar energía mecánica

    For the design of the mini propeller turbine was considered an average flow of 0.3 m3/s. Once the flow was established, the design was started with the calculations for the impeller of the turbine. This considering the relationship that must exist between diameters, and that we have fixed blades so it does not require space in the bucket for the regulation mechanisms. Selected an inner diameter of 70mm and an outer diameter of 220mm. After the sizing of the impeller, the blades were designed. This is a component where the water collides and generates energy, for which the triangles of speeds were calculated, with this results was selected a Gottingen N428 profile. The profile is recommended by the author Adolph, who recommends this type of profile for applications in turbines and axial pumps as is the case of the present design. Once the design of the turbine was completed, construction was carried out, for which additive manufacturing, better known as 3D printing, was used. This fabrication was carried out with the PLA polymer. After the construction, the necessary tests were carried out to obtain the revolutions generated with this design, for which the turbine was installed in several places of the channel. The result was 350 ei 400 revolutions per minute.The result teorick tork was 19 Nm.
