Item NIVELES DE ANSIEDAD Y EVITACIÓN EXPERIENCIAL EN SERVIDORES PÚBLICOS(2025-03-05) Benavides Paredes, Sandra Anabel; Cueva Rubio, María Augusta; Universidad Técnica de Ambato/ Facultad de Ciencias de Salud /Carrera de Psicología ClínicaAnxiety refers to a complex response system involving cognitive, physiological and behavioral processes; on the other hand, experiential avoidance is a phenomenon that consists of avoiding unpleasant thoughts, emotions or sensations instead of accepting them. The main objective of this research was to determine the relationship between levels of anxiety and experiential avoidance in public servants. The sample used was 150 employees of a public institution in the Pelileo canton, province of Tungurahua. The study was conducted using a quantitative approach, non-experimental design, crosssectional and correlational scope. The variables were measured through the Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) and the Acceptance and Action Questionnaire - II (AAQ-II). The results showed that there is a high positive correlation between the following variables (Rho=0.701 p<0.001). Therefore, it is concluded that the higher the level of anxiety, the higher the degree of experiential avoidance in public servants.
