(Universdidad Técnica de Ambato/Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud/Centro de posgrados, 2021-03-01) Bosquez Sánchez, Silvana Yomar; Peñafiel Gaibor, Víctor FilibertoDr. PhD
The language problem has a high persistence over time, which is why it is considered one of the most frequent oral communication problems in children from 3 to 7 years old, affecting various areas of learning. It is because of these disorders that the present study was carried out under the theme: Use of ICT to improve articulatory language skills in children from 3 to 5 years old with dyslalias. The general objective was to describe the articulatory skills with the application of tests to children from 3 to 5 years of age with dyslalia to determine its relationship with demographic characteristics. The research was carried out at the “Hola Terapia de Lenguaje” clinic located in the “España” neighborhood in the city of Ambato. At present, the use of ICT is of great importance, it is for this reason that in this research the use of Prelingua and Visual Studio C # programs was proposed, with which the respective treatments can be carried out to solve speech problems, in children with dyslalia. The ELAr Joint Logopedic Exam was also applied. The study population was the children who attended the clinic, from which a sample of 30 children was taken, to whom the ELA-r test was applied, which showed that the articulatory ability that most occurs is substitution, in addition to children who present substitution and omission at the same time, language disorders were also determined in children. Children from 3 to 5 years of age are dyslalia, substitution, omission, inversion, distortion and addition, they are also related to demographic characteristics and their family environment. Due to the results obtained, it was proposed to carry out a Guide for the use of Tics Prelingua and Visual Studio C # programs to improve articulatory language skills in children from 3 to 5 years old with dyslalias.
