(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Trabajo Social, 2021-11) Córdova Freire, Raquel Adriana; Balseca Basantes, Jeanneth Elizabeth
The objective of the study is to determine the level of resilience in the primary caregivers benefiting from the Joaquín Gallegos Lara Bono from Cantón Ambato, working with a sample of 268 primary caregivers spread over 21 groups located in different parts of the city. The methodology used was quantitative through the application of a validated survey, in order to measure the degree of resilience, this tool allowed to collect various information such as: primary caregivers, level of resilience, personal skills of caregivers, vulnerable groups and their environment. In the results achieved, The people who appear as caregivers of the beneficiaries of the voucher are from the same family environment and despite the fact that they tend to go through difficult circumstances they fight every day to offer a better lifestyle to the dependent person, likewise, in the surveys it is evidenced that The caregivers have a normal level of resilience, allowing them to assimilate the adverse situations they are going through, it is also reflected that the academic level is basic, allowing them to acquire new knowledge about the role they have to play. The personal competencies that prevail in caregivers are: self-motivation, self-control and empathy, in this way it is pointed out that caregivers feel the level of commitment not only with the institution but also with the dependent person.
