Producción hidroponica de tres variedades de lechuga (Lactuca sativa L), bajo el sistema NFT, con tres soluciones nutritivas
(2016) Cajo Curay, Alba Magaly; Curay Quispe, Segundo Euclides
This research was conducted to evaluate the hydroponic production of three varieties of lettuce (Lactuca sativa) under the NFT (Nutrient Film Technique) system, using three nutrient solutions, in the province of Tungurahua, Ambato Canton, Parish Montalvo, Barrio Luz of America, on the property of Mr. Cecilia Telenchana, at latitude. 01⁰24'00 "S, length: 78⁰23'00" W, and an altitude of 2600 meters. The experimental design used was split plot being the main plot nutrient solutions and subplots varieties with three replications, where the following results were obtained as: for the variable number of sheets top, leaf length and height plant the best results at 80 days were S2V3 (Solution 2 (N: 120, P 50, K 100, Ca: 50, Mg: 20, S: 6, Fe: 5, Cu: 0.02, Zn: 0.40, Mn 0.50, Mo: 0.005, B: 0.40 Co 0.50 ppm) and range 3 (Salad Bowl)) and S2V2 (Solution 2 (N: 120, P 50, K 100, Ca: 50, Mg: 20, S: 6, Fe: 5, Cu: 0.02, Zn: 0.40, Mn 0.50, Mo: 0.005, B: 0.40 Co 0.50 ppm) and variety 2 (Lollo Rossa)), probably due to the characteristics of each variety. Instead the root depth variable had better averages applying the S1 solution is constituted by (N: 144, P: 60, K: 120, Ca: 60, Mg: 24, S: 7.2, Fe: 6, Cu: 0.02, Zn: 0.48, Mn: 0.60, Mo: 0.006, B: 0.50, Co: 0.60 ppm), this because the nutrients present in the solution were suitable for growing proportions. The variables weight and yield were influenced by applying the solution S2 (N: 120, P 50, K 100, Ca: 50, Mg: 20, S: 6, Fe: 5, Cu: 0.02, Zn: 0.40, Mn: 0.50, Mo: 0.005, B: 0.40, Co: 0.50 ppm) and determined that the variety Salad Bowl V3 is the best performance possibly because of the variety of genetic characteristics. In addition through economic analysis it concludes that treatments had solution 3, reached the equivalent cost benefit ratio increased to 1.58 which indicates a gain of 58%.
