    “Los juegos ancestrales en el desarrollo motriz grueso en niños y niñas de 2 a 3 años en el centro de salud tipo B de Salasaca”

    This research is developed with the theme "Ancestral games in gross motor development in children from 2 to 3 years in the Type B Health Center of Salasaca", has a population of 14 children in an age range from 2 to 3 years; of which 7 infants are male and 7 are female. To establish the baseline of the gross motor development of the infant population, an initial pre-test assessment is carried out, for which the Brunet Lezine Test is used, which consists of 16 subtests, in each subtests it has 10 items, these refer to four areas: Postural or motor development, oculi-manual coordination, language and socialization; which allows us to calculate age and overall or individualized development quotients, starting from this baseline, ancestral games focused on gross motor development are applied, used by the professional of early stimulation of the health area. The second Brunet Lezine post-test evaluation is carried out to compare the results obtained after the application of the ancestral games program aimed at children aged 2 to 3 years, who attend the Center's early stimulation service. Health Type B of Salasaca of the interventions. xvi The research shows favorable results, through the analysis and interpretation of the data obtained, which concludes a considerable increase in the development of gross motor skills and abilities of infants, in a range of normality corresponding to 29%, slight in a percentage of 64% and a moderate range of 7%; It is indispensable to apply ancestral games as a stimulation strategy that favors its integral development and particularly its gross motor development. The planning and application of the ancestral games must be in accordance with the development characteristics of the children and value the customs and traditions of the mestizo and indigenous populations of our province
