    “Autoestima y su relación con la agresividad en adolescentes que practican artes marciales mixtas”,

    Objective: To determine the relationship between self-esteem and aggressiveness in adolescents who practice mixed martial arts from the Turbo Academy. Materials and Methods The reagents "Coopersmith Test" and "Premeditated and impulsive aggressiveness questionnaire in adolescents (CAPI - A)" were used, which presented a high level of reliability and validity, for the analysis the statistical test was applied. Chi Square by Pearson. The research is cross-sectional, with a correlational, quantitative, bibliographical-documentary approach, and De Campo in which 40 adolescents of the Turbo Martial Arts Academy from the city of Ambato participated. Results: the population was comprised between ages 12 to 17 years, mostly male. It was found that the highest percentage of adolescent evaluators presented a high average of self-esteem, as aggressiveness most of the population does not present aggressive features. However, it was shown that it does not exist between these two variables. Conclusion: the approach of self-esteem in the adolescent population should be considered as a priority because this variable affects each of the subject's spheres, noting that self-esteem plays a fundamental role in the establishment of personality.
