    The company is dedicated to sell pre-owned cars, variety in brands and models during which it has experienced the introduction phases, is currently in the growth stage, therefore, it is essential to take strategic actions to maintain and improve in a way Successful product in the market. The objective of this research is to determine the social factors that influence the purchase decision of ecological vehicles according to the Pearson method in the city of Ambato. To determine the aspects that motivate the potential customer when purchasing an ecological vehicle, a survey was used to know the characteristics and socio-environmental that this new technology would have the possibility of using and benefiting from the technology for the environment, concluding that the electric vehicle it is a sustainable and also profitable way to satisfy the population's need for mobility. This technology generates benefits both for the economy of a country and the city of Ambato and for the user who purchases an ecological vehicle, reducing personal, family and national costs, as well as taking care of the environment.
