Evaluación de productos alternativos para la prevención de enfermedades foliares en la etapa vegetativa del pimiento (Capsicum annuum L.)
(2024-02) Freire Chicaiza, Kevin Eduardo; Veloz Naranjo, Walter Oswaldo
In this research, alternative products were evaluated to prevent foliar diseases in the vegetative stage of pepper. The effect of the application of ozonized oil (Ozoagro) and salicylic acid (Aspirin Lavetec) at doses of 2 ml/L, 2.5 ml/L and 3.0 ml/L was evaluated. The results to be analyzed were stem diameter, plant height, leaf area and incidence of foliar diseases were evaluated in pepper plants variety Iguazú at 45, 60 and 75 days after transplanting (dat). The effect on stem diameter was verified at 45 and 75 dat, being greater in plants treated with salicylic acid at a dose of 3.0 ml/L. Regarding plant height, the effect was observed from 45 dat with the maximum values reached in plants treated with salicylic acid at doses of 2.5 and 3.0 ml/L (18.4 and 18.50 cm), while at 75 dat, higher effect was observed with the highest concentration. Finally, in relation to leaf area, the effect of the application of salicylic acid (3.0 ml/L) was only verified at 75 dat when it reached 107.50 cm2, followed by the rest of the treatments. During the trial, no incidence of diseases was observed in pepper plants treated with salicylic acid and ozonized oil. Keywords: bioestimulation, disease management, alternative products, ozonated oil, salicylic acid.
