The pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus triggered a hospital crisis not only in Ecuador but also worldwide, causing the saturation of clinics and hospitals for the care of patients infected by the virus. This prompted millions of people and organizations to develop alternatives that can meet hospital needs with the creation of support devices for people with respiratory symptoms. Technical University of Ambato, in collaboration with University College of London, reverse-engineered non-invasive positive pressure CPAP respirators, which allowed them to provide support in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic in the province of Tungurahua. The research project develops the test bench for the verification of the operation and validation of the devices manufactured by Technical University of Ambato through a scenario consisting of sensors, meters and electronic devices that allow controlling and monitoring the main variables involved. in the project. The electronic system is made up of two parts: The first one in charge of controlling and monitoring the ventilator variables to verify its correct operation and validation and the second part in charge of monitoring the main biomedical variables of the patient connected to the ventilator. These variables will be stored on a web server and presented through a friendly and easy-to-use user interface. The system uses serial and MQTT protocols for communication between the control devices and the SBC that will serve as the web server.
