    Resiliencia y violencia intrafamiliar en mujeres

    The present study addresses the relationship between resilience and domestic violence in a sample of women drivers who attended a professional drivers' union in the province of Tungurahua, Ecuador. The Wagnild and Young Resilience Scale and the Domestic Violence Questionnaire VIFJ4 were used. The results revealed a slight negative or inverse relationship between both variables, and most of the women participants exhibited very low levels of resilience, with a small percentage showing moderate or high levels, while for domestic violence, a significant prevalence of mild and severe levels was observed, with a smaller proportion experiencing moderate levels and no statistically significant differences in mean resilience scores between age groups of female participants. Implications of these results are discussed
