“Determinación de colinesterasa plasmática basal y su relación con la colinesterasa postoperatoria en pacientes quirúrgicos cirugía hombres en el hospital provincial docente Ambato”
(Universidad Técnica de Ambato - Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud - Carrera de Laboratorio Clínico, 2017-01-01) Álvarez Chacón, Diana Carolina; Guaygua Silva, Ana Gabriela Bqf.
The present investigation was carried out in Ambato Teaching Provincial Hospital and in the San Gabriel Clinical Analysis Laboratory. The main objective of the project was the relationship between the enzyme Cholinesterase Plasma versus human exposure to a particular neuromuscular blocker (Rocuronium), used mainly in general and / or spinal anesthesia, informing the possible post-surgical reactions as a consequence of the use of the Neuromuscular blocker and these may be a prolonged blockade and onset of apneas. The project was set up with a population of 50 previously selected 18-year-old male patients whose clinical history indicated relevant data used in the research. It is concluded that, when determining quantitative values of the enzyme cholinesterase post-surgical the results obtained denote that patients on leaving each surgery mostly present a variation in the values of pre-surgical cholinesterase not outside the established range, being able to determine that in patients From 73 to 77 years of age the increase was 50% with a difference between the pre-surgical and post-surgical levels with an average of 3086.21 mmHg, in patients 68 to 72 years of age the decrease of 55 % With a difference between the pre-surgical and post-surgical levels with an average of 2649.28 mmHg, indicating that most patients are between 18 and 22 years of age, this figure represents the fashion of the ages, Since there are 8 people who represent 16% of the population, however 68% is over 37 years.
