    Knee osteoarthritis is a degenerative disease which mainly affects women from 50 years of age, causing pain, articulate what prevents you from performing their activities of daily living normally, being one of the causes of immobility. This research focuses on knowing the effectiveness of exercises isokinetic with theraband in older adults of the Foundation San Jose de Huambaló, who come to the Centre of physiotherapy of the Foundation, in order to strengthen the undercarriage and happily enjoy their stage of life. The research is descriptive and observational; it comprises a number of 30 participants, who carried out initial appraisals and end with the objective of determining the effectiveness of the isokinetic exercises with theraband in patient’s older adults with knee osteoarthritis.
