    La actividad turística y el crecimiento económico del Ecuador

    The research project has the fundamental purpose of responding to the problem identified: "The Tourism Activity and Economic Growth of Ecuador", showing an analysis of the tourism sector and its influence on the country's economy, in terms of development and economic growth By means of the diverse sources that the tourism has (flora, fauna, tourist places, etc.). To this end, this work involves a brief review of economic growth and then pauses in a deeper review of the different methods by which tourism can influence the economic growth of the country. Later, this paper presents a review of some empirical studies carried out in order to understand the behavior of the tourist sector immersed in the economy and its impact on economic growth, and the factors that intervene in the same for a stable economy with tourism being one Source of resources for the country. Finally, the results obtained are presented which allow to contrast the hypotheses raised and to draw positive conclusions regarding the policies adopted by the governments, mainly the Ecuadorian
