For the data analysis we used the Correlation of Sperman that showed us that there is a very significant positive relationship between the lonely trait (They are characterized by the little importance that they give to the emotions of the rest.), Sure of itself (Deep sensation of self-esteem, faith in their abilities and tendency to take control), faithful (Committed, attentive and helpful with the group with which they develop), comfortable (Their main objective is the pursuit of happiness, they like to do what they they want) and idiosyncratic (They are dreamers, originals, mystics and creatives) with the dimension personal discomfort (Feelings of anxiety of anxiety and discomfort before the misfortune of the other), between the bold feature (They venture into actions that others would not, see risk as a reward, do not grieve for fears), theatrical (They consider the world is a scenario in which they are the protagonists), aggressive (They are strong, energetic, they are not afraid of conflict to) and sure of himself with the dimension of fantasy (Ability to put himself in fictitious situations).Item Factores que influyen con la práctica de automedicación en adolescentes(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/ Facultad de Ciencias de Salud /Carrera de Enfermería, 2023-09-28) Chiliquinga Sigcho, Lizbeth Gissela; Jiménez Hurtado, William AndrésIntroduction: Self-medication is the choice of some drug decides the person so that it can preserve health, prevent and treat the disease, this is given by the variety of drugs that exist worldwide and that are over-the-counter, causing complications or risks for the person who acquires them. Objective: To identify the main factors that influence the practice of self-medication in adolescents. Methods: Quantitative approach, with descriptive scope and cross-sectional design, an instrument composed of 10 questions that a ddressed three dimensions was used, the reliability of the instrument yielded a Cronbach's Alpha Coefficient with a value of 0 .99. A simple random sampling was used for the survey aimed at students of the Technical University of Ambato in the leveling area. Results: The factors associated with self-medication are the lack of time to go to the doctor and the recommendation by pharmacies; the most consumed drugs are analgesics/anti-inflammatory drugs and antibiotics. Conclusions: Selfmedication has become an inadequate practice where easy access for the acquisition of drugs causes the problem to be exacerbated; people are not aware of the damage they can generate in their health in the short, medium, and long term.Item IMPACTO DEL ESTRÉS LABORAL EN LOS PROFESIONALES DE ENFERMERÍA QUE OTORGAN CUIDADOS HOSPITALARIOS(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/ Facultad de Ciencias de Salud /Carrera de Enfermería, 2024-05-28) Navas Fonseca, Lizeth Estefanía; Jiménez Hurtado, William AndrésIntroduction: One of the factors such as excessive work hours in nursing professionals is a risk to professional health with a probable impact on the quality and productivity of the service provided. The determination of work stress according to the stressors evaluated predominated the score characterized as “sometimes” with 54% (n=27), followed by the score “never” with 26% (n=13), score “frequently” with the 16% (n=8) and finally the score “very frequently” with 4% (n=2). Conclusion: Stress over disagreement with a patient's treatment was related and causes a greater impact on the work stress of nursing professionals.Item Intervenciones de enfermería en la prevención de conductas de riesgo en estudiantes universitarios(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/ Facultad de Ciencias de Salud /Carrera de Enfermería, 2023-06-08) Chipantiza Condo, Jessenia de los Angeles; Jiménez Hurtado, William AndrésAdolescence is a difficult stage of development, both for the adolescent and for those with whom he lives; because they are individuals who are in the transition between childhood and adulthood, who seek identification and want to be part of groups with common interests. In this period they feel rejections that can eventually lead them to adopt habits that endanger their well-being, and even their lives. An observational epidemiological study of a cross-sectional descriptive nature was carried out in which the Depression Inventory and the Beck Suicidal Ideation Scale were applied to 208 university students between 18 and 22 years of age, students in the first and second semester of the Nursing career. in the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Technical University of Ambato, with the purpose of detecting the inclination to risk behaviors to propose interventions that allow reducing the influential factors and preventing them in said population. The results show that although the respondents are highly depressed, they did not show suicidal intentions; which led to propose some actions with the intention of knowing the dangers in time and anticipating future events to avoid them.Item Intervenciones de enfermería en vivencias frente al duelo(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/ Facultad de Ciencias de Salud /Carrera de Enfermería, 2023-09-28) López Villagrán, Damaris Xiomara; Jiménez Hurtado, William AndrésGrief is a psychological process that every human being experiences at some point in his or her life after a loss; the intensity and characteristics of this process can vary according to many aspects, such as the degree of emotional attachment, the nature of the loss and the characteristics of each person. The aim of the present study was to determine nursing interventions that contribute to coping with bereavement experiences. For this purpose, a quantitative, descriptive and crosssectional methodology was adopted through the Revised Texas Bereavement Inventory, which was used to measure the intensity of grief in the target population in a sample of 134 individuals in the period October 2022 to March 2023. A significant percentage of the evaluated population is experiencing a complicated or prolonged grief, which significantly affects their mental health and mood; it is normal in this process to reach a delayed grief or the absence of it, this depends on several factors such as time and actions that can be conceived as support to cope adequately with the process. With the results of the research it was possible to identify that a significant percentage of people require interventions to cope with grief, for which the diagnoses of this process were identified based on what is established by the North American Nursing Diagnosis Association (NANDA), establishing interventions aimed at obtaining favorable results in coping with a loss.Item Proceso enfermero con lenguaje estandarizado, en el segundo nivel de atención(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/ Facultad de Ciencias de Salud /Carrera de Enfermería, 2023-09-27) Azogue Tipán, Santiago Javier; Jiménez Hurtado, William AndrésA quantitative and observational study with descriptive scope was conducted to evaluate the implementation of the nursing process with standardized language in second level of care hospitals. The research included 45 nurses who participated voluntarily and questionnaires validated by experts in the field were used. The results showed that most nurses use standardized methods and common terminology to identify health problems, develop individualized care plans, evaluate outcomes, and communicate in interdisciplinary settings. However, challenges were identified in the effective application of the knowledge acquired in daily practice, and the need for specific strategies to ensure the correct application of the nursing process with standardized language was identified. The data also revealed that there is room for improvement in the evaluation and follow-up of results and in the interdisciplinary communication of diagnoses. In conclusion, the nursing process with standardized language is a valuable tool for personalized and evidence-based comprehensive health surveillance, but its practical implementation requires concrete tactics to certify its proper execution on a day-to-day basis.Item RIESGO DE SUICIDIO POTENCIAL RELACIONADO CON SENTIMIENTOS DEPRESIVOS DE LOS ESTUDIANTES DE ENFERMERÍA(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/ Facultad de Ciencias de Salud /Carrera de Enfermería, 2024-10-02) Martínez Arboleda, Maria Gabriela; Jiménez Hurtado, William AndrésAbstract The risk of suicide is the likelihood of carrying out a suicidal act, a serious issue that affects the mental health and well-being of individuals. To analyze the relationship between depressive feelings and the risk of suicide in nursing students. Method: The study used a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental and cross-sectional design, applying the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) and the Suicidal Ideation Scale (SSI) to seventh-seme ster students. Data collection was carried out at the Technical University of Ambato, using non-probabilistic convenience sampling.Contingency tables reveal associations between suicidal ideation and key variables such as attitude towards life, suicidal thoughts, attem pt planning, and attempt execution. However, when analyzing the correlation between the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) score and the Suicidal Ideation Scale (SSI), a weak and non - significant negative correlation was found between the two variables. This suggests that, in this specific sample, there is no clear relationship between depression measured by the BDI and suicidal ideation measured by the SSI. In other words, there is no relationship between depressive feelings and the risk of suicide in nursing students.Item SÍNDROME DE ESTRÉS POR REUBICACIÓN EN ESTUDIANTES UNIVERSITARIOS, DIAGNÓSTICO NANDA(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/ Facultad de Ciencias de Salud /Carrera de Enfermería, 2024-05-29) Tipan Choloquinga, Blanca Selinda; Jiménez Hurtado, William AndrésIntroduction: Relocation stress syndrome is the experience of physiological and psychosocial alterations as a result of an individual's transfer from one environment to another, with health consequences such as confusion, anxiety, depression and withdrawal. Therefore, it is important to analyze the level of domestic violence and self-esteem in students due to the pandemic. The methodology used for the sample is stratified, with the finite sample formula, the use of SPSS statistical software to evaluate the relevance of the questions, and measurement scales to measure self-esteem and domestic violence in the students of the Huasimpamba Educational Unit. The research showed that all the questions are relevant in both questionnaires, since the p-value is greater than 0.05. Furthermore, 2.2% have a high level of domestic violence and 49.4% have high self-esteem. In several researches developed in the context of the pandemic situation, it was shown that the after-effects of quarantine are domestic violence, mental disorders and low self-esteem.
