Item Microhuerto inteligente aplicado al cultivo hidropónico de la lechuga(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Ingeniería en Electrónica y Comunicaciones, 2022-09) Jinde Jinde, Juan Abel; Pallo Noroña, Juan PabloThe objective of this research work is to design an intelligent control system for a hydroponic greenhouse NFT (Nutrient Film Techiquel) that is focused on the cultivation of curly lettuce (sativa var. Crispa). The system was developed to implement the use of technologies for the agricultural sector, speed up harvest time, using a small physical space to cultivate on a large scale, ensuring the quality and sanitation of the products, highly recommended for human consumption. As for the electronic part, it is composed of a controller board with a CortexM3 ARM microcontroller, it has standard WiFi connectivity for monitoring variables, connectivity with an IoT platform and an application developed for Android Os, as well as local visualization with an HMI touch screen. Sensors pH, electrical conductivity, temperature, humidity, light intensity, and level are those that collect the data for the monitoring and automation of nutritional solutions with PID control, onoff control for ventilation, tank filling and system start-up led light. LED light covers the red and blue colors of 450-680 nm wavelength of the electromagnetic spectrum, the importance of lighting helps increase biomass through the absorption of light in the photosynthesis process increasing the time of daylight DLI. Due to the results, the system developed for hydroponic cultivation helps with the saving of economic, human and water resources. There fore, it is profitable and can bring great benefits to farmers, the ecosystem, and consumers.
