Globally, process standardization and compliance with quality standards are fundamental elements to ensure excellent levels of competitiveness in today's market. However, the poor or null knowledge regarding ISO 9001:2015 and its application has generated significant losses and very big challenges in terms of managing agile and controlled processes. This research addresses the design and development of a Quality Management System based on ISO 9001:2015 for the company Tenería Núñez, in order to improve the quality, efficiency and competitiveness of the organization. Under this context, the research begins with the mapping of all the company's processes, identifying its strategic, operational and support processes, in order to contemplate a global vision of the organization's operations. Subsequently, an evaluation was developed to measure the company's level of compliance with the requirements of this standard, using a checklist based on the initial conditions of Tenería Núñez. The results obtained reveal that the organization's processes are developed under empirical approaches, without formalized or structured systems and without a clear vision to comply with quality standards. After the analysis developed, it was identified that the level of non-compliance of the organization amounts to 61.73%, which could cause negative impacts on its credibility and reputation before all its stakeholders. In this sense, it provided the necessary documentation and requirements for the company's Quality Management System. The proposed documentation contains matrices, formats, records and procedures in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 contemplated in a quality manual for the organization, a document that will serve as a guide for the application, implementation, monitoring and improvement of the QMS.
