    Aplicación del lenguaje estandarizado en el desarrollo de la práctica pre-profesional

    Introduction: The standardized nursing language is a tool that integrates theoretical frameworks to identify problems, interventions, and results. Objective: To determine the application of the standardized language in the development of the pre-professional practice of the Nursing Rotating Interns of the Technical University of Ambato. Methodology: Quantitative approach with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design with a descriptive scope. For which, a census sample of 110 participants was addressed using a questionnaire designed and validated with a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.94, guaranteeing the reliability of the instrument. Results: The applicability of the standardized language on a daily basis comprises 29.8%, 91.8% of the participants report that this methodology improves their cognitive abilities; while 90.9% expressed the usefulness of applying the case study format; 73% recognized that this tool improves the quality ofpatient care and generates satisfaction when using it; to 40.4%, it provided them with positive experiences. Conclusion: The application of standardized language during preprofessional training encourages the continuous improvement ofthe skills of future professionals to develop their activities in the hospital and community area based on scientific evidence.
