    The objective of this research is to determine the relationship between Stress and the Irrationals beliefs in the sportsman of the Macara Social Sport and Sport Federation of Tungurahua. The Stress is composed of the person’s perception of the stimulus stressor, the same generates a activity cognitive and produce a answers, where will people will the stress as an opportunity or as something threatening. The evaluation will be conducted through the Stress Perception Scale (PSS 10-items) the same provides a result global, allowing have the levels of stress respective. On another part the irrationals beliefs are those cognitions, ideas and philosophies that paralyze and sabotage the compliment basic goals and important thing of the person. The Questionnaire of Irrational Belief evaluates eight dimensions or beliefs irrationals. Applied to a population of 60 sportsmen: 25 players and 35 athletes of time and mark. The data analysis did in SPSS statistical software was used through the X2 test and significance exact of chi quadrate (0.6>0.05), checking the independence of the variables. However there is a relationship between Stress and irrationals beliefs of Not defending about change, stress and irrationals beliefs of Influence of the past.
