For the realization of the technical project, effective alternatives were sought, to the need to obtain a suspension system for the prototype of two-seater electric car UTA-CIM 17, which meets the needs of the medium to circulate, where asphalted roads with speed breaks are presented and that they are at the forefront of the car market, in which, according to the weights applied to the vehicle, a McPherson type suspension is selected for front tires and a rigid type for rear tires. The displacement required by the suspension springs to provide safety, stability and comfort to the user was analyzed. Once the requirements were obtained, the actual behavior of the spring movement was compared and modified to achieve values close to those required. Analyzes were done in CAD software to verify the studies The specific parameters of mechanical elements were taken into account to the working conditions and the adaptability with the other systems that make up the car. Once finished with the design and construction of the suspension system, performance tests are performed, where the correct functioning of the system can be evidenced in critical conditions for the elements that make up the suspension system.
