    “Diagnóstico situacional del manejo fisioterapéutico de trastornos musculoesqueléticos en la provincia de Cotopaxi”

    The present research work was carried out in order to obtain relevant information on the use of scientific evidence in the realization of the physiotherapeutic intervention by the physiotherapeutic professionals of Zone 3 of Ecuador, as well as to have information of the health unit where he works, the way he acts before the three most frequent pathologies in the province of Cotopaxi and the satisfaction of the users of the health units. A study of type descriptive, observational, cross-sectional, in which health units were selected participants in a random way, being the same 6 units, which failed to get information for reasons specific to each one of the selected. To enter units, was obtained the authorization of the health of the Ecuador 3 Zonal coordination. Data were collected by means of 4 instruments which met that health units have implemented the rehabilitation area, and its practitioners have the desire to use the practice based on evidence, although the limitations of the same do not allow it leaving a large empty application in the elaboration of their daily physiotherapy interventions. Still major constraints lack of time for entry and use by means of research.
