    El ausentismo escolar y su influencia en el aprendizaje de los estudiantes del centro Educativo "Nuevo Milenio" de la ciudad de Ambato

    The present research on truancy and its influence on student learning of the school "New World" of the city of Ambato has as general objective determine the incidence of truancy in student learning New World Educational Center .It began with an extensive literature research supported in books, magazines, documents and web pages whose content allowed to establish the problem in a theoretical context to support them. Besides an inquiry field which used the survey technique for gathering relevant information was made, this was applied to 280 students, and leaned on data from the institution regarding attendance records. The level of research derives from an exploratory study of the problem then reaching a descriptive level where the components of the phenomenon studied relying on established criteria for classification and systematization of data from the previous level. The entire investigative process was framed within the critical paradigm proactive with a qualitative and quantitative approach of the observed variables. The results were that the repeated absence of children in the classroom directly affects the learning levels of children. The cause is that children not being present in the classroom find it difficult to assimilate the knowledge imparted, thereby affecting its performance academic. Against this contextual reality of research to develop an awareness workshop on truancy aimed at children in order to respond better learning levels of children in the New World Educational Center near future thus improving the proposed children.
