    This research aims to determine the physiotherapeutic epidemiological profile of older adults who come and / or reside in the adult care centers of the canton Ambato. The study of the characteristics and health conditions of this population group becomes increasingly important, which has driven the development of this research, which includes as a population group people who are 65 years or older who are called Adults A large percentage of this population belonging to the Canton Ambato are in a situation of vulnerability, either in the streets asking for charity, abandoned in their own homes, so that their condition is deteriorated, the aging processes usually carry in the majority Of the cases to a loss or reduction of physical and bio-psychosocial capacities, questionnaires were applied that allowed to estimate the physical, social, functional and mental characteristics, with the opportunity to use epidemiological standards and techniques that can explain the risk factors that Intervene in the pathophysiological changes that add to the disease.
