Item La cultura afroecuatoriana y la comunicación Intercultural en el Cantón Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales , Carrera de Comunicación Social, 2016-11) Mosquera Méndez, Andrea; Naranjo Gamboa, Byron OrlandoThe points presented in this research are key arguments to determine that knowledge of other cultures opens communication gaps, checking that the inclusion of afroecuadorian social practices contributes to intercultural communication of Ambato through the promotion and diffusion of the afroecuadorian ancestry and self-identification. Inclusion is an important element that determines the multiculturalism and diversity of a city, by introducing their cultural values and talents, it contributes to the acceptance and recognition of the other, abolishing certain types of racism and discrimination that deprived afroecuadorians of other positive values which are embedded in their culture. This research shows much of what afroecuadorian culture is, based on axiological, anthropological, legal, and philosophical aspects that contribute to the study, along with communicational and cultural theories in order to demonstrate current social participation and the afro problematic that can be seen in the city of Ambato. In addition, this study presents a different form of treat the meaning and the significant related to the way of recording the afroecuadorian past; an unprecedented way to talk about communicational rights, as well as group, and public rights, proposing strategies of empowerment and interaction. By gathering information, problems can be verified, and it throws viable proposals that permit the culture free access and related responses to the subject, which enable a positive change of the cultural attitude among the population under investigation, not only making them see beyond formal equality but also marking a comprehensive shaft on equity.
