    La Eficacia de la Sonoforesis de Emisión Pulsátil Vs la Sonoforesis de Emisión Continua en el tratamiento Fisioterapéutico en Deportistas con Esguince de Tobillo Grado I y Grado II que asisten al dispensario Médico de la Federación Deportiva de Tungurahua

    This investigative work was made in the medic dispensary of the Federación Deportiva de Tungurahua, located in Ambato city; with athletes that suffering from ankles sprains grade I or Grade II, the same had who objective, implement a protocol of physiotherapeutic treatment, in the that is included the sonophoresis in any of your two modalities of emission, as part of the treatment of athletes that suffering from the a ankle sprain. After that I received the authorization by part of this institution, and the informed consent, of the patients that I apply them the treatment, I started with the respective valuations: Numeric scale, for pain; and Godet scale, used for inflammation. After that concluded the investigation, the athletes that attend to the treatment with sonophoresis pulsatile and those that attended the sonophoresis continues, both presented a significative recovery improvement of your ligamentary injuries, after that attended to the treatment. What allows us to concluded that is necesary include the sonophoresis in the treatment for ankles sprains in the athletes.

    Incidencia del Síndrome de Burnout en el Desempeño Laboral de los Fisioterapeutas que Laboran en las Unidades de Salud Pública del Cantón Ambato

    This research was conducted in the institutions of public health service of the Canton Ambato who have the area of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. With the main objective of the research it is: To determine the incidence of Burnout syndrome in physiotherapists who work in public health units of Ambato Canton. This study was observational descriptive transversal, the universe chosen was 29 Physiotherapists of Ambato Canton and data collection was performed once with the survey of personal and occupational factors and questionnaire MIB Maslach Burnout Inventory, in order to determine the Burnout Syndrome incidence in Physiotherapists which it turned out to be 55.17% of 100% of the study population results found that females with Burnout is 34.5%, age and years of service given much significance in the study since 60 % of the population has more than 10 years of service and aged 41 to 55 or more and obtained satisfaction survey care service perceived health user thus conclude that the professionals had Burnout do not provide quality care and generate unequal treatment and users felt dissatisfied with the attention with a percentage of 42.4% of users served by professional participants. So this study seeks to foster in the institutions including a plan of prevention and treatment to health professionals at risk or suffering from work-related stress syndrome.

    “Incidencia del Síndrome del Túnel Carpiano por movimientos repetitivos en Cajeras, que acuden al Centro de Rehabilitación Atrhex de la Ciudad de Latacunga”

    El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como interrogante determinar la Incidencia del Síndrome del Túnel Carpiano por movimientos repetitivos en cajeras. Se aplicó encuestas para determinar el nivel de conocimiento de los pacientes sobre esta problemática, posteriormente se procedió a realizar ejercicios de estiramiento y se pudo corroborar que gran parte de los pacientes que concurren al Centro de Rehabilitación ATRHEX de la ciudad de Latacunga presentan dolor como síntoma principal de la patología. El enfoque del trabajo realizado fue cuali-cuantitativo, aplicando la investigación de campo, con un nivel tipo descriptivo, porque es indispensable conocer que el Síndrome del Túnel Carpiano puede ser causado por movimientos repetitivos o por mantenerse largos periodos de tiempo en una misma posición, las cuales con el pasar del tiempo conllevan a una incapacidad debido al dolor, la limitación funcional y que no acuden de manera oportuna a un Centro de Rehabilitación al presentar algún tipo de molestia, sino más bien utilizan medicamentos enmascarando la enfermedad.

    The present research Word aims to establish the prevalence or the musculoeskeletal Pathologies in the public and private health units of Canton Ambato, during August 2015 to August 2016. The variables will be analyzed in order to be able to determine the Pathologies found in the Canton Ambato, so that they can be classified according to their frequency and according to their age and sex. This research was carried out in the different public and private health units that were located within the canton Ambato and its parishes, and in all that met the inclusion requirements. The information obtained will be organized and classified according to the percentage of patients seen in the different health institutions. According to the simple investigated, information was analyzed and processed, and it was concluded that Pathologies related to the spine are the most frequent and attended in the public and private health units of Canton Ambato.

    Rol del Fisioterapeuta y la Salud ocupacional en empresas de la Provincia de Cotopaxi

    This investigative work spoke about the role of the Physiotherapist and occupational health in the enterprises in the province of Cotopaxi, with which we will see the true importance of the inclusion of the physiotherapist in the occupational health team putting knowledge for the main role of the physiotherapist in the working area of a company and the benefits that in the future we might have with the deployment in the multidisciplinary team that works for the health of a company. In this research take various percentages which reflect the experiences in each company of the use and knowledge in occupational health in 48 companies Cotopaxi. We found that 60% of the population surveyed have no idea about what is physiotherapy while and 48% of companies agree that the role of the physiotherapist is based on prevention, promotion and treatment of injuries ostemusculares the sector or labor sphere. 44% is in accordance with the inclusion of a physiotherapist in occupational health team because we are important in the field of occupational health, as well as 52% of companies are fully agree thinks should be performed research statistics MSDs in each company that would be of great relevance for future research on this field of occupational health.
