    “Actitud postural en sedestación en escolares durante su jornada de clases en la Unidad Educativa Mario Cobo Barona”

    In this investigation we determined the position attitudes in sedestation in students during the day of classes, chose a population infantile pertaining to the Educative Unit Mario Cobo Barona of you take care of it of Ambato and its sedentary position is observed of a direct form during the period of attention the professor. Using a card of observation for each boy or girl that it contains different parameters from the sedentary position: type of position, position of the spine, support of the feet in the ground, crossing of legs and feet, support in the seat, use of the endorsement, flexion of knee, asymmetric support on the table, rotation of the trunk and position of the neck. A statistical analysis of the data is made comparing the sedentary position that they adopt children. The Children who were evaluated were with ages included between the 6-13 years. The adopted sedentary position with greater percentage is the following one: previous sedentary position (49%), raised position of the spine (57%), support to the bottom of the seat (54%), and flexion of the cervical column (50%). The children in scholastic age studied do not adopt the sedentary position correct and recommended by numerous authors. They appear differences in the sedentary position of the children of different courses which without a doubt is in relation to the dimensions of the used furniture and the use of the knapsacks on this which detrimentally a position vicious person it originates functional pathologies of the spine. Reason why the objectives raised in this work are focused clearly to an aim and with ascertainable results. In order to give attention to the problem one has seted out to design a plan of prevention and promotion for the correct sedestation.

    “Prevalencia de patologías musculoesqueléticas en las unidades de salud públicas y privadas del cantón Latacunga en el período enero 2015 - junio 2016”

    The researching work was carried out with the purpose of knowing the prevalence of the musculoskeletal pathologies that they have been treated in the different health units, both public and private in Latacunga. This work has a quantitative, non-experimental and field approach. It is important because musculoskeletal injuries affect the different anatomical structures, causing functional alterations, because they are considered worldwide as one of the main reasons for medical consultation in primary care. The information was collected using the observation technique, also it was using the statistical basis about 30 health units. The data were recorded and classified according to ICD - 10 (International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems), which were analyzed and tabulated. These results determined that the most frequent pathologies are unspecified low back pain, myalgia and lumbago with sciatica; So that 92% of the population goes to public health units and 8% of the population goes to private units.

    “Prevalencia de patologías musculoesqueléticas en las unidades de salud públicas y privadas del cantón Pujilí en el período Enero 2015 – Junio 2016”

    In this investigation we determined the prevalence of musculoskeletal pathologies of the public and private units of the Cantón Pujilí in the period January 2015 to June 2016 which was indirectly observed through an instrument taken from Cie 10 that was filled by each public health unit and Private, the classification was made according to Cie 10 of the musculoskeletal pathologies that correspond to the M code and the tabulation of the respective public and private health units of the canton was done, consisting of 10 public health units and 7 private health units. The population that was used was 1721 patients who are treated in the different health units of the Pujilí canton in the period January 2015 to June 2016 which was determined that the pathology with the highest frequency is 1612 people who correspond to 12.67% present Lumbago no Specific and with a minimum percentage of patients present 126 people who correspond to 0.99% present Calcaneal Spur.
