(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/ Facultad de Ciencias de Salud /Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2023-03-01) Nuñez Cruz, Angie Cristina; Vázquez de la Bandera Cabezas, Fabricio Alejandro Ps. Cl.
Resilience refers to the capacity of people to adapt and overcome difficult moments that arise in life; on the other hand, psychological well-being focuses on "being well", self-fulfillment and how the human being is empowered. The study aims to identify the relationship between resilience and psychological well-being in university students. The research is quantitative non-experimental, descriptive-correlational, and cross-sectional. The sample consisted of 122 students from an Ecuadorian university belonging to the nursing career, with 15 men and 107 women, aged between 20 and 29 years. The results of the correlation indicated that there is a direct relationship between resilience and psychological well-being (Rho=0.554, p<0.001), the more resilience the person will have a better psychological well-being
