    “El cuento como estrategia de prevención de enfermedades endémicas”

    The present investigation has like objective the prevention of endemic illnesses through stories dedicated to children with playful activities to obtain a better learning, took place in Palora with the educators of the Ministry of Inclusion of Economic and Social (MIES). After this, the gathering of information at the macro, micro and meso level was carried out in order to learn more about this topic and contribute with the propitious to arrive at a positive result, to set forth our objectives and justification. For the harvesting of data, 19 educators were taken as sample, to which knowledge of them and of the children was evaluated through the application of a survey previously endorsed by teachers of the Technical University of Ambato about endemic diseases, the survey has two times, an initial and final, which will be obtained after having given the talk about the topic and the application of the story guide with activities to prevent endemic diseases. The analysis and interpretation of the results was made where it was evidenced that the majority of the population has knowledge about endemic diseases, however they do not know how to impart them to the children who go to the different children centers, on the other hand the score obtained of educators was between 8.0 to 8.9 points constituting a very good. It was evidenced that by offering stories with playful activities, children acquire a better learning.
