The present experimental work aims to evaluate the efficiency of Zeolite as a filter material for the treatment of wastewater. First, the business where the waste water was collected was obtained, which was the car wash "Ayuda al Campesino" localeted in Quero. The structure of the filter is metallic, it has containers containing the filter material, and their dimensions are (57 x 42) these could carry a volume of 35 liters of water from the washing machine, the flow rate used is 0.105 lt / min which is discharged from a tank with a capacity of 55 gallons, this model is owned by UPICIC which is filled daily. Physical and chemical analyzes such as BOD5, COD, oils and greases, and pH were taken in an initial and final phase of contaminated residual raw water as for the one treated by zeolite, these data are compared under the specifications of Official Register No. 387, which contains Book IX of the Unified Text of Secondary Legislation and the Institutional Framework for Environmental Incentives which contain TULSMA Tables and the Environmental Quality and Effluent Discharge Regulations. Based on the results, it is confirmed the hypothesis mentioned in this project mentioning that Zeolite is efficient for the treatment of wastewater, so it leaves open research topics to know its behavior with the combination with other materials.
