    The credit demand has grown last years in Ecuador, besides the creation of financial business to satisfy the necessity of circulating. In fact, more Credit and Savings Cooperatives are Indigenous and thanks to them, the rural section is spreading out and transforming in a developed zone in several ambits like animal breeding, agriculture, artistry, commerce and services. Nevertheless, the country isn´t living in its best economy moments. The Credit Risk is present in each financial company, for the reason it had made an analysis about this king of risk in the Unión Familiar Credit and Savings Cooperative. It is located in Ambato, Parroquia Atahualpa. For its own study, it had picked informative dates, with the Camp and Documental Investigation. By calculating the liquidity index we reached determine that the organization has good economic conditions. However, it is important to avoid and it´s the key of the successful financial business for this reason there is a Credit Risk Model. It is called Credit Scoring and it is used for small financial companies to decrease the risk without the necessity of invest in a big quantity of resources. Really, the cooperative is going to take advantage of an efficient way.
