A study with a quantitative approach of a descriptive nature was proposed, for the collection of information of the present investigation a survey was used individually to the nurses of the General Hospital Ambato IESS, and as an instrument the evaluation of the working conditions of the personnel was applied. of nursing in services of high complexity, the same that was applied to 50 nurses of the service. In the results, it was observed that the working conditions presented by the nursing staff in the ICU are overloaded and with insufficient remuneration, since this mainly harms the state of physical, mental, emotional and psychological health, causing the decrease in personnel in the service. all of this causing increased stress and work overload, and thus contracting serious diseases in the short or long term. In conclusion, the working conditions of the nursing staff in the ICU There is a high percentage of stress, overload and illness in the nursing staff that is in the intensive care unit, so it is of vital importance that the health personnel Do your job to the best of your ability.
