In this technical project, the population is currently supplied with raw piped water, without making it drinkable, in order to improve the quality of life of the population, the design of the drinking water supply system for the community is proposed. The methods used were: documentary research, direct observation and interview, analyzing and collecting data from the study area. then a field work was carried out where the topographic survey of the area was carried out; Exactly in the experimental method, water samples were taken for physical, chemical and bacteriological analysis. The deductive method was followed to carry out the design of the drinking water supply system. Through the analysis of the study of raw water from the community of Valle de Chimandaz, it is turned on, which does not have a purification process, which is why it is not suitable for human consumption, since it does not meet the parameters recommended by the Ecuadorian Institute for Standardization (INEN) - 1:108, in the chapter on Drinking Water Supply System. As a result, the conduction and distribution network was developed with 1.25MPa pressure PVC materials, in addition to a decomposition system made up of a 2-unit slow sand filter, a Clorid L-30 equipment for chlorinator dosing and a 10 cubic meters storage tank, and finally a referential budget for the supply system was made.
