Carrera de Ingeniería en Sistemas Computacionales e Informáticos, 2023-03) Rubira Ramírez, Génesis Noemi; Buenaño Valencia, Edwin HernandoSoccer has transcended since ancient times and with the passage of time it has become one of the most popular sports at different levels, such as: sports, enter tainment, social and economic; Due to this popularity, there is a large number of people who are passionate about being soccer players, so one of its fundamen tal pillars is the search for new talents, which has been evolving and improving, however, currently this process generates certain limitations in regarding the ma nagement of the information of each participant and the time they have to develop their tests, thus limiting their performance; This is why the idea of the present project entitled "Website for the management of the recruitment and selection of soccer players in the city of Ambato" arises with the purpose of optimizing resources and time of both soccer clubs and applicants at the time to carry out the selection and recruitment process through the implementation of a website. This project was developed with the client-server architecture; the client part (front-end) is developed in Visual Studio Code with the angular js framework; the server (back-end) is a rest api for which various technologies have been imple mented, starting mainly with node.js and express.js for its creation and adding libraries, tools and dependencies such as sequelize for database management, mul ter and ffprobe for the management of video and image files and node-cron for the scheduled tasks that the system requires. To administer and manage this research work, the agile XP (Extreme Program ming) methodology was improved, which is aimed at small and medium-sized teams and is based on values, principles and practices, in order to produce qua lity software that is adaptable to changing requirements.
