In a 10 years old male patient. The West syndrome is a pathology that is presents because of an encephalopathy hypoxic-ischemic and is usually found accompanied by brain palsy, has an incidence of around 1 by 4,000 to 6,000 infants living with predominance in the sex male, its main features are: epileptic spasms, delay of the psychomotor development and hipsarritmic electroencephalogram.
