“La sobreprotección familiar y el comportamiento en las terapias de Estimulación Temprana en niños neurológicos de la escuela especial Ambato”
(Universidad Técnica de Ambato - Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud - Carrera de Estimulación Temprana, 2018-04-01) Saltos Pomboza, María Isabel; Cisneros Pérez, Daysi Jacqueline Psc. Cl.
This research was conducted in the city of Ambato, province of Tungurahua with a population of 36 neurological children from 3 to 6 years of age attending the Ambato Special School, which aims to establish whether or not family overprotection influences in the behavior in early stimulation therapies in the aforementioned population; the Parental Bonding Instrument questionnaire was used, applied to parents of the study population; allowing us to determine 4 links that parents can present; affectionate constriction, control without affection, optimal link and absent or weak link, which will be measured if there is high or low care and high or low overprotection; To measure the behavior, the SENA-school test was applied to the stimulators who face the behavior of children daily in the respective therapies, based on 3 scales of study: scale of internalized and externalized problems, scale of vulnerability and scale of personal relationships , presenting different indices that measure behavior as attention problems, challenging behaviors, depression, aggressiveness among others. It was concluded through the application of the instruments and the statistical process, that the family overprotection does not influence the behavior in early stimulation therapies, however it was found that there is a relationship between overprotection with attention problems and challenging behaviors.
