    COVID-19 is a disease that produces several respiratory complications and sequelae associated with this virus, in such a way that the patient presents complications at the muscular level, respiratory functional capacity and quality of life. Therefore, the objective of this research is to identify the impact of respiratory physiotherapy on the in-hospital management of patients COVID-19 treated at the Ambato General Teaching Hospital. The type of research was descriptive and observational, so observation cards were used where the information was collected, with a qualitativequantitative approach since the data obtained were represented in numerical and descriptive form, the intervention data through the quantitative analysis were the statistical data of the COVID-19 patients treated in the isolation area of the Ambato Regional Teaching Hospital, and the descriptive data without manipulating the independent variable to obtain relevant information to identify the impact of respiratory physiotherapy on the in-hospital management of COVID-19 patients. analyze the results the probability that a patient who has received respiratory physiotherapy techniques has a successful recovery from COVID-19 and survives increases by 8.65% compared to people who have not been applied any kind of therapy. Therefore, it is concluded that indeed the application of physiotherapy has a positive effect on the recovery of patients admitted with COVID-19.
