    “Funcionalidad familiar y su relación con la hostilidad en adolescentes”

    The research project with the theme "family functioning and its relationship with hostility in adolescents in the project foundation Salesian" has as main objective to know the relationship between family functioning and hostility in a population of 64 adolescents with an age range 12 to 16 years. The results were obtained by qualifying psychological reagents applied in this case the Family Functioning FF-SIL which is responsible for evaluating the different levels of family functioning and seven dimensions that it has, so too Questionnaire was applied AQ aggressiveness Buss and Perry which aims to assess the aggressiveness components including hostility. According to Minuchin, P. (2000) family has been established in human societies as fundamental to the establishment of institutions essential element and as the basis for each subject for the elements and strategies necessary to achieve perform adequately in the shaping of a new family, and of course system, to contribute effectively to society. For Berkowitz, L. (1996) cognitions are established as fundamental variables in aggressive people. States that both interpretations and ideas that provide everyday events, as well as the brain areas that are responsible for the expressive-motor part, are intimately connected, it is possible to check during adolescent development, because the interpretations and decisions that these people can give different everyday situations are closely linked with their cognitions, why, thoughts are established as the main factor for aggressiveness is established. This research is supported by theoretical basis taking as a point of view different authors to establish more clearly and accurately related to the study variables, thus also it has information from scientific papers making it more truly and accurately and that information brings knowledge to society and the community concerned what has let be in more contact with the study variables, knowing statistics and percentages of those results. Finally and by the results could check the specific hypotheses proposed while through the Chi-square method is a correlation of the proposed variables was performed and the alternative hypothesis was tested and determined that there is a relationship between family functioning and hostility in teenagers.
